Essential
Oils and Aromatherapy
The
most commonly used technique to isolate essential oils from most herbs,
grasses, roots and trees
-
Expression:
Citrus fruits
are pressed, yielding essential oils of Bergamot, lemon, orange, etc.
-
Extraction:
CO2 - the best
solvent leading to pure and superior essential oils
Organic solvents
- may leave chemical residues and are considered problematic
NOTE: only
products based on pure and unadulterated essential oils should be called
Aromatherapy. Unless it is 100% pure, it is NOT Aromatherapy. Synthetic
products will not have the same healing effects and may have adverse effects.

and focusing the brain

Level:
- Absorbed through
the skin during massage or bath
